Melinda is based in the Byron Bay area and also has a mobile makeup artist service. She travels to Lismore, Gold Coast and Brisbane and everywhere in between. Small and large wedding and bridal parties also catered for.

DO I NEED TO KNOW WHAT KIND OF MAKE-UP LOOK I WANT?
WHAT PRODUCTS DO YOU USE?
I use a range of products with proven photographic performance including a beautiful range of organic and vegan makeup such as Ere Perez and Youngblood mineral makeup. If you are interested in learning how to do your own everyday or screen makeup, one on one makeup classes are also available by request.

Yes, both hair and makeup.

Absolutely. We can do everything from an elopement to a large bridal party. For group bookings, I have a team of other trusted and talented stylists
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE AHEAD OF TIME?
This is a great question! Please see my notes as below and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

Skin should be clean and moisturised

Waxing is better done at least 2 days prior to your booking

Tanning is best done approximately 24-48 hrs before

Hair should be clean and completely dry (washed twice at the roots) conditioned and rinsed without any additional products added

Blow dries need to be booked in advance
WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT TERMS?
A non-refundable deposit and balance on the day.
DO YOU DO MAKE-UP TRIALS?
Whenever possible I do highly recommend trials so we can discuss all our options, you can try the products and most importantly feel completely comfortable and confident that you are in the best hands on the special day.
If you are not local and can't do a trial don’t worry we can we can discuss everything via phone and share photos and ideas.
DO YOU HAVE A MOBILE MAKEUP SERVICE?
Yes, absolutely. We travel to Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Ballina, Lismore, and all the way to Sydney. Travel fees outside the Byron Shire apply
WHERE IS YOUR MAKEUP ARTIST STUDIO?
On a rural property in Mullumbimby. Approximately 20 mins from Byron Bay and 50 mins from the Gold Coast.
It helps to send me photos of inspiration so I can gauge the styles you like and create a look that will suit you. It also depends on what we are shooting. For Actor's headshots, I do an industry-standard fresh and natural look. Dancers and models we usually play with different styles.
